Meet Jay

Jay Kilmartin is a successful small businessman, who operates two South Carolina Melting Pot franchise locations as well as The Cigar Militia Premium Cigar Store. Jay uses his businesses as a ministry, and supports numerous charities - primarily Second Saturday - a ministry that serves local widows, disabled, and those in need. 

Jay is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Public Communications. 

Jay and his wife Elizabeth live in the Irmo area, and are very active within their community. They have been married for over 27 years! Elizabeth and Jay met in the restaurant industry opening businesses. They have owned and operated several restaurants throughout the country. 

Jay and Elizabeth have two children. Ian and Rhys. Ian is a veteran of the US Coast Guard and now runs Accuclean Carpet Cleaning in Columbia and the surrounding areas. Rhys currently attends Southeastern University, where she was the Turning Point USA President, and is current the Vice-President of the Student Government. The Kilmartin family attends Dutch Fork Church in Ballentine SC. 

Jay has been involved in the America First movement throughout South Carolina and has been on the ground supporting President Trump and conservative causes. His voting record in the South Carolina House has been consistently conservative! Delivering on his promise, to bring conservative common sense to Columbia.
